Directors Brainstorming Session for Fringe Festival 2020!

At 7pm on Sunday July 12th, BCT will hold a brainstorming session with potential directors and producers for BCT’s proposed Fringe Festival 2020 (adapted!)

While we are excited at the prospect of Bangkok opening back up as we move past a month with no local transmission of the virus, we are also aware that the situation with Covid-19 is ever-developing and that we could all go back to self-isolating should things change for the worse. With that in mind, BCT would like to develop plans for a “BCT FRINGE FESTIVAL 2020” that has the flexibility to be rehearsed and performed online as well as in a theatre. We have already sourced several scripts that provide this flexibility and are open to looking at more.

Our next step is to find volunteer directors and producers – without them, we have no productions! We already have a few people interested and have set up this meeting to work with them but we have room for more! So please let us know if you would be interested in directing or producing.

We of course encourage everyone to volunteer – but especially those members of our community who have already had one or more opportunity to perform on the BCT stage. We’d like to ask you to help provide that opportunity to someone else. Pay it forward, so to speak.
