Through simple, practical exercises which bring together the body, voice and imagination, we’ll begin to explore how Michael Chekhov’s acting techniques lead to transformation. Chekhov was one of Stanislavski’s leading students, and a renowned actor and theatre practitioner in his own right. He was particularly known for his ability to physically and vocally transform to inhabit a character. This workshop will be beneficial to teachers and actors alike.
James Laver is an actor, voice artist and magician who trained at the Oxford School of Drama.
