The February 4th AGM marks the beginning of the 2021 BCT calendar year so all membership subscriptions must be paid up prior to the meeting. Whether you will be a new or returning member, please mark your calendar now for the February 4, 2021 online AGM, and email AGM@bangkokcommunitytheatre.com with your intention to attend the AGM and/or pay your membership fee. Normally, you could just pay at the event but since we social distancing online this year, we need to do things a little differently.

You email us and then we will email you back the bank transfer details so that you can transfer your membership fee for 2021 (B600 for ordinary members/B300 for students.) Once you have paid and forwarded a screen shot of the transaction, we will confirm receipt and send you a link for the Zoom room.

If you would like to renew your membership but you are unable to attend the AGM online, just let us know. Once you have paid your fees, you can assign your proxy to another paid up member and see your voice counted that way.

Traditionally, we hold a party and celebrate the BCT Bobs at the same time as the AGM. However, given the online format and the reduced number of Bobs nominations this year, we have decided to hold off awarding any Bobs this February and to combine the nominations for 2020 and 2021 productions to be awarded at the AGM in 2022. Furthermore, when Covid restrictions lift, we can consider some sort of live celebration for our members later on this year.

In the mean time, we need you to take part in the AGM. We need your voice and your ideas as to how we can create theatre together during these difficult times. So don’t delay, email AGM@bangkokcommunitytheatre.com to renew your membership and to attend the February AGM today.
